This place is a garden of Eden, it is Paradise. From the moment we arrived, we lowered our shoulders, took a deep breath - and relaxed. For once it actually is like the pictures! The small hotel with only ca. 20 rooms is quiet and mostly hikers. Everything is very clean, from the room to the restaurant, with a beautiful view and mosquito netting. The food is delicious, with a daily variation of different bread, fruits, eggs, and homemade marmalade. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the location is perfect. The atmosphere and garden are amazing, with birds singing, breakfast under banana trees, and sunset dinners. We will be back next year!
Can just recommend this hotel.

This hotel on Madeira's sunny south coast is a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always with a smile. The airy and clean room had an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean and was well-lit. The hotel's eco-friendly concept was practical and inspiring. The breakfast was varied with freshly baked bread, homemade marmalade, and seasonal fruits.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. The food, especially the breakfast, was delicious. The room had a stunning view of the ocean, and the hotel's eco-friendly approach, including the use of electric hire cars, was commendable.
The pillows on the bed were quite flat and felt a bit old. the bathroom amenities seemed cheap for a hotel of this caliber.

The pool area was nice and there was a good selection of dishes at the restaurant. the location was convenient for my business trip and the staff were friendly.
The room was disappointing and not what was advertised. There was no balcony or view, and there were cockroaches in the room despite keeping the windows and doors closed.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel! The location on the sunny south coast of Madeira island was absolutely stunning. The views from the hotel were breathtaking and I couldn't get enough of the beautiful garden and outlook. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent lighting. I especially appreciated the mattress topper they offered, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The restaurant and bar provided top-notch service, and I loved the Happy Hour cocktails. The breakfast was varied and of a high standard, and I even received great advice about walking routes in the area. The packed lunches they provided were just right, and I enjoyed playing table tennis during my stay. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services that truly made my experience memorable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Great selection of dishes at the restaurant and gorgeous surroundings. Location was ideal for exploring the island from a central base. Enjoyed the different walking tours offered, gave us a chance to see the hidden gems of the area.
Our Christmas stay was not without its problems. The room felt cramped and uncomfortable, amenities were outdated and made the room feel cheap.
